The MBNS activities in Turkmenistan have been associated with the oil refinery in Turkmenbashi, for which MBNS as one the first companies delivered the equipment as early as 1993. In 1994 the oil processing columns were delivered and the first branch office – representation was established just in Turkmenbashi with a resident business representative to ensure permanent liaisons with the customer. In 1995 another large contract for the delivery of steam reformer furnace coil, 30 air coolers, and 4 exchangers was signed.
Following the successful implementation of deliveries, another two contracts for the reconstruction and delivery of catalyst reformer equipment and delivery and erection of two cylindrical furnaces, each with a capacity of 1.5 million tons of processed oil/year, were signed in 1998 based on the Regulation by the President of Turkmenistan. The deliveries and services were made within shortened deadlines to the full satisfaction of the customer.
