Who we are

MBNS – International, Ltd. was established in Brno in 1995 to continue the activities of MBNS joint venture, Ltd., a former Czechoslovak and Soviet joint venture providing services for the chemical and petrochemical industry since 1990.

Since the beginning of its activities MBNS‘ major concern has been to meet the requirements of chemical and petrochemical enterprises related to the supply of spare parts, repairs, reconstruction and modernisation of the existing machines. Its main sales territory so far has been the countries of CIS, in particular Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Russia and Ukraine. The increasingly fierce competition in the market as well as the utmost effort to satisfy the needs of its customers led the company to consider the possibility of building its own production plant in 2000. Once this had happened, the forge was by MBNS completely restructured and reconstructed.

In the public selection procedure which took place in 2001 MBNS became a sole owner of Královopolská kovárna, (Forge), Ltd. Once this had happened, MBNS saw to it that the forge was completely restructured and reconstructed. What is more, a new machining shop was built to extend the offered services. The forge is currently offering to its customers a wide range of die stampings and separately forged pieces including their finalmachining. On 1. 1. 2005 the name of the forge was changed to MBNS Kovárna, Ltd.

At the end of 2003, in connection with the restructuring process of Královopolská, Inc., MBNS bought a part of its production premises including the machinery and equipment originally referred to as “special chemistry”. This plant was used between 1960 and 1999 for the production of the equipment for the nuclear power stations and factories with a high demand on the quality of materials and workmanship. This plant was also completely restructured and modernised.

Today MBNS can offer its own vast production capacities, such as the production of parts for the chemical and petrochemical industry, e.g. exchangers, pressure vessels, supply tanks, columns, tubular parts, as well as cold and hot tube-bending.

Besides that, MBNS can supply its customers with capital equipment, spare parts and reconstruction of chemical and petrochemical units. MBNS has a lot of experience in these activities and as such is able to take care of the financing issues as well as other challenges which need to be addressed during the realization of big capital projects.
